WHAT TO WEAR?

As a general rule, consider the weather conditions when deciding what to wear. You can wear a similar clothing that you would wear for cycling or running.

  • Tops: Close fitted tops such as t-shirt, tank top, or long sleeve shirt. Avoid loose and baggy tops, and the ones with pockets as they will get in a way of the moving oar handles. Wear layers for colder weather, and consider bringing a fitted rain/wind jacket.

  • Bottoms: Quick drying athletic shorts, tights or leggings are perfect for being able to get in and out of the boat and to move freely on the sliding seat.

  • Shoes: Water shoes, booties, or athletic shoes that you don't mind getting wet. To get in and out of the boat, you will have to step in the water ankle deep..

  • Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat. Bring a water bottle for hydration.

  • Safety: ROW4ALL will provide life jackets.
